Favorite Racing Moment:

My favorite memory is from a motorcycle race at Mosport in 1977. My dad and I made the long trip from Michigan to Canada and camped at the track for the weekend. Towards the end of the race, we hiked over to the back straightaway and watched the big 750cc Yamaha of Steve Baker rocket-up the hill; Steve was going so fast that at the crest of the hill both wheels came off the ground--simply awesome. After the race we went to the pits, and Steve autographed a full-sized poster for me. He won the Formula 750 Series that year, becoming the first American to win a road racing world championship.
