US LEGENDS MILLION RACE

The US Legends Million Race took place this past week at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Overall there were 300 competitiors and only 34 cars made it to the main event. There was a total of 100 laps competing for the $250000 purse. The winner Daniel Hemric was a hometown boy only 19 years old. Doug Stevens took second and Steven Cantrell took third. GM cuts support to its Nationwide, Truck series teams

General Motors has followed its Detroit rivals, Ford Motor Company and Dodge, in cutting off its financial support to it NASCAR teams that operate outside of NASCAR’s premier division the Sprint Cup series.

Richard Petty Motor Sports headed to the Nationwide Series

Richard Petty Motor sports and Team Braun racing are teaming up for a select number of races in the Nationwide series. This will mark the King’s return to this series for the first time since the 1990’s. It could mean big changes at RPM in the very near future.

Has the NASCAR economy hit a wall?

When we try and evaluate the overall economy of NASCAR we must take into account as many of the economic indicators as we can. Of course this analysis comes on the heels of the news that Red Horse Racing has shut down the #1 truck team of Johnny Benson.
